Nottingdale in London w11 is a mixed commercial and residential development designed by architects AHMM, which will grow in stages over 10 years. Our wayfinding solution had to accommodate the different building types and user needs, and be easy to update. The need for such flexibility gave us the idea of a typographic map, inspired by the brashness of New York street signing.

The name of each building is fitted in its relevant plot as it is built, divided by the streets. Since the words are metaphors for buildings, the letters are three-dimensional, the larger ones being the tallest and deepest.
