University of Edinburgh

Within the University of Edinburgh lie the schools of Business and Economics, both courting the brightest international students to join highly reputable courses. Our brief was to develop identities which would be strong enough to sit alone, but be recognisably part of the University brand family.

Our proposed logos for Schools use the University shield and adapt the saltire to form unique tartan patterns, based on an abacus (management) and a barcode (business).
